2.     What are slime moulds?

3.     Give the importance of agitation during fermentation.

4.     What is the significance of enzymes?

5.     Define enzyme kinetics.

All questions are compulsory. Each question carries 7 marks.

6.     Give the principles and applications of fluorescence and electron microscopy.

7.     Describe the prokaryotic cell structures and their functions.

8.     Describe various steps involved in fermentation.
