REVISED ADMISSION NOTICE FOR B. TECH PROGRAM OF UIET SESSION 2018-19
The Last date for admissions in the B.Tech. Degree Programme of UIET has been extended to 31st July 2018 and the selection criterion revised as under:
Online Applications are invited for admission to the following programs for the Academic Session 2018-19:
Streams
1. B. Tech: (Computer Science and Engineering)
2. B. Tech: (Civil Engineering)
Selection Criteria:
Admission to the B.Tech. Programme for the academic session 2018-19 shall be made on the basis of this year (2018) JEE mains Score.
In case Seat/Seats remains/remain vacant after consuming all applications on the basis of JEE Mains score, the same shall be extended to the candidates on the basis of this year (2018) JKCET Score.
Note 1: 90% of the total seats shall be filled up from the candidates belonging to Hr. Sec. (10+2) schools falling within the jurisdiction of Jammu province while 10% seats shall be open to all including the candidates belonging to the other region of the state/Country.
Note 2: In case seat/seats remains/remain vacant out of 90% quota allocated to Jammu province candidates, the same shall be offered to the other parts of the state/Country.
Note 3: Candidates securing JEE Main/JKCET score of one or above shall only be considered for B.Tech. courses of University of Jammu.
